Started fishing about 8:30, 9 am Thurs and Fri. Far end of lake was red hot. Also weather these days about 80 and calm. Did not have clicker, but it probably would have overheated from all the action. Estimate 80 fish for 2 days of leisurely trolling. Most productive about 45 on the riggers. Pink slingblade with pink wedding band was killer. Both orange or chartreuse spinners alone worked well, in fact they were practically inhaled when bit. Our fly fisher also caught on various streamers. 14 to 16 inchers can be caught in 20 feet of water at very end of lake on the surface or casting. Only regret is we didn't do drive by of Darrel and Dad's as they were hosting The Angler's West TV production, cant wait to watch. A big thank you for their report of last year. Warning! Last years boat launch site washed out. At end of road,DO NOT take last left along lake. Almost impossible to turn around with trailer.Hole in culvert under road. Launch at ramp straight ahead when you get to end of road next to campsites. Tried to fish Sunday, but so windy we decided to bag it after 2 great days.

Nice fish. I was part of the Angler West TV shoot (the kayak fishing part). A lot of fish in the 50 ft mark but did pick up quite a few in the shallows as well. I tend to find bigger fish in the Spring there but still an amazing fishery.
