Hey Folks! Just wanted to give a quick update on the Hanford Reach King Season! While the overall numbers of Reach fish are down this year, there is still some great fishing to be had if you stick to your program and put your time in! As we all know, we got spoiled with huge returns the last few years! This season is reminiscent to the Reach seasons of the early 2000's and is what I would call a true typical year for this fishery. If you get 4-6 fish a trip, you are doing great! Water fluctuations and lower than normal water on the reach have not helped the fishing, but when the water comes up, we get new fish and usually have some good days of catching. This weekend we trolled superbaits and got our fish is deeper water. Watch your graph and adjust depths to be slightly above your fish marks and you will catch fish. If interested in booking this great fishery or looking ahead, Spring Salmon, give me a call and get on the calendar! Tight Lines!
