Fished Clear this morning from 6:45 to 10:15. I caught and released 15 largemouth bass, 3 perch, and 2 crappie. Most fish were caught near lily pad edges or along cabbage beds. Only one bite came from next to a piling. Raining when I arrived, it stopped and was wonderfully calm as soon as my boat hit the water...glad I went. Had the place to myself for about an hour and stuck a pig within 20 minutes of arrival. The first 2 hours rated a 5, but after 9am I struggled to get bit. The largest bass was just over 5 pounds, but I got some 4's too. All fish caught on rubber worms. Looking forward to another visit here soon!
