I could not believe my eyes when I saw how brown the water had turned since Friday!!

Oh well, by this point I was pretty much going to make one lap and either keep fishing or bag it.

I motored over to the northeast corner and began picking apart the reed edge working back west. I missed four fish and caught one. Two of the missed fish beelined for the boat and I did not get a good hookset. Another threw my bait in midair as I was jacked up from the misses and overcompensated on the hookset. The fish I landed was small and went for a similar ride as I one hopped it to the boat.

I decided to bag it. It obviously was not meant to be for today and fishing Samish and Terrell, even though not for very long, took enough out of my two year old group 27's that I bugged out.

Group 29's going in next week! Oh well, casting, towing and launching practice is always good lol
