Started my one lap around Panther by flipping the pads next to the launch. I alternated from that and skipping Senkos, topwater Rapalas and spinnerbaits all the way down to the south end without a nibble! In the south end I at least spooked some in the pads but they were running FROM my bait and not TO it and that wasn't a great sign. One thing I did key on however was how close the fish were to shore. I motored over to the SE corner and started back north. I opted to pass up the larger pad fields and focus on the thinner lines of pads closer to shore, I figured this I could work more efficiently and let's face it, the bass would be more concentrated if present. This side is also a little steeper so the bass had better access to deeper water as well. This ended up being the deal and I caught fish almost all the way up to the NE corner flipping in the small holes and especially near wood cover. I took pics of a few but they were all about the same size honestly.
Wrapped it up and headed home. I was going to finish off the night at Armstrong but frankly I ran out of back....ugh.
