The bite has been slow and slower on the Duwamish, despite LOADS of jumping fish. Finally have managed to start hooking up again the last few days by changing to a bright chrome and hologram Krocodile spoon. Slow stead retrieve has gotten the bites, no dropping or jigging has enticed the bite, just slow and steady, emphasis on slow.

Lots of the jumpers starting to change colors but the biters have still been fresh from the salt, sea lice and all. Found a few holes to produce fish based on the sheer numbers of fish stacked, but they just aren't very interested in biting.

Landed 2 hens yesterday, a buck and a hen 2 days ago as well. Haven't seen anyone else hook up except one boat yesterday also pulled a fish out of the hole I was working.

Tide hasnt seemed to make much difference, have caught on high, low, flood and ebb.

thanks for the report. Did you see any tribal nets deployed this week on the Duwi? I heard talk of nets going in this week, but have not independently confirmed their presence...
