Fished the Nooksack at Nugents Corner this morning (9/5), 8am-noon. Saw a few salmon poke out here and there, but overall really slow. Tried the whole arsenal of lures and got no bites. Water quality decreased Friday or Saturday last week, becoming pretty silty. I was at the same site last Thursday (8/31) -- water was clear and saw a lot of fish in the river. I'm a novice angler, so maybe other people will have more luck, but definitely really slow this morning.

Ditto for me on Sunday regarding your report. Until the water clears I think bank drift fishing is not productive. I am referring to Hovander park area.

Nowhere is productive, boats and bankies haven't caught damn near nothing.... I however ended up with 2 fish in the dark before sun up...... Big humpy buck 28" and a hatchery coho 30 1/2".... Both Caught on dick nite 50/50

That's great. I can't bring myself to get up that early to fish. What spot were you at?
