Water is down a couple feet from our last trip and it was tough launching on the unimproved side of the launch area.

On the water by 8 and concentrated on the pilings and the deep water to the east. Nothing doing for us. The stuff that usually works didn't--nor did anything else we tossed.

All we managed to accomplish was to lose a Hudd trout and then the lure retriever we tried to recover it with. Must have been a deep piling broken off.

I almost broke the tips off of two nice rods poking into the piling "forest" on the west side trying to retrieve a $5 swimjig--stupid.

Hot and muggy day. I felt lucky to escape with only the lost lure and retriever.

thanks for the report was debating going up there. Sounds like a rough day. I was at Panther Lake Saturday got two bass and only 10 hits saw lots of swimmers and beaver...it was DEAD! Think most of the bites were sunfish.

Outside weed edges. It's still summer.

Thanks, B8. Went out there since my son tagged a 2.25 on drop shot and a 5.2 on a Hudd in 20 feet there last week. We worked the pads and weeds on the W side but couldnt get anything to going. We just didn't put it together this day.
