Thanks to herefishy who suggested Enatai beach park fishing.
Got there about 8am and tried the fishing dock. There were about 5 others already fishing away.
Saw a ton of bait fish surfaced right next to the dock so I dropped down on top of them with a drop shot Berkley mouse tail (live night crawlers would've been better). Lots of bites and pulled in 3 yellow perch right away. Too small for me to keep, but fun.
By 9:30, the dock had become pretty crowded with about 14 folks pulling in small perch, pumpkins, and catfish. I saw people were keeping all the small perch, so maybe I need to find a recipe for them too.
I was casting further out in hopes of something bigger, but no luck and decided to pack it in around 10.
Nice little park and lots of anglers on the water in boats & yaks under the bridge. Thinks it's about time I get one too.
