After getting skunked a couple times on the Snohomish, I decided to give the sound a try. Headed out of shilshole around 6:15 or so, dropped crab pots, and started fishing.

I got a 4-5lb coho hen on a red racer dasher and herring aid king fisher around 7am near the green can, 26ft on the downrigger.

I had a chance to limit around 9:30 or so. Hooked a nice coho on a green glow flasher and the same herring aid kingfisher between meadow point and spring beach, got it to the boat, but it came off before I could net it.

Headed in around 10:30 with one coho and 3 red rock crab. Not a bad labor day morning.
