I have been hitting the beach at Admiralty Inlet south of the ferry at Keystone Harbor about 10 times in August and only managed to land a decent 20" pink and a small hatchery coho.
Other people have been landing fish but nowhere near the numbers of a couple of years ago.
But, I have seen a T-O-N...TON of jumpers and rollers on most outings, fish just aren't picking up what i'm laying down.
Trying pink on pink rotator/hootchie combo, pink/chrome on pink over popsicle rotator/hootchie combo, chartreuse on pink rotator/hootchie combo, and regular pink buzzbomb at both high and low tide, all with and without scent without much luck.
But today I finally landed a 24"/7# chrome pink on a chrome and pink rotator with popsicle hootchie. Fitting as I feel like I have been fishing 24/7 to land a nice hen! Definately bigger than 2015.
Only five days left to land a couple more as they hopefully still trickle into keystone harbor.
