Wow what a night. Road my bike with my brother to our spot out in sumner 5th cast bam fish on rod bent over and bouncing fish on… big big fish on. I fought this fish for 6ish minutes it rolled around splashed around and I tired it out then slung it on to shore. First thing I noticed it had a clipped fin. Second thing I noticed, it had a black mouth! Adult chinook. I measured it and weighed it. 29 inches and 10 pounds. My personal best salmon. Didn't fish the rest of the evening because I had to fit in in my backpack and get home before dark. I've spent 17 hours on the river ( I have not made a report on all of them) caught 2 clipped chinook. And had on 1 pink. fun night :)
