I took an extra day off work this week so I igured Iwould go up to The lake with my kayak and paddle around. I made two laps around with a weight and a Macks wedding ring but had no luck so I switched to bait. I paddled to the deeper side of the lake almost straight out from the boat launch and dropped my line. I just let the light breeze push me along. The fish seemed to like the worms and floating trout nugget and I caught three within the hour. I had a few other bites and one tiny bass or Sun fish tried to steal the worm as I reeled it In to paddle further out but it shook it self off pretty quick.

All in all I had a great time and wasn't expecting much if anything.
