Well, went Largie fishing, only caught Smallies. lol

Had a dozen or so hits on the topwater. They either got off, or missed but did get 3 in the boat. Biggest at 2.49. No hits on any other lure. Then went Smallie fishing, and nothing. Still made it back home in time to watch the Little League World Series first game.

What kind of rigging were you using for smallies? Surprised nothing. Sounds like good action for topwater though.

Drop shot for smallies. Only fished one spot down lake most of the way for 1/2 hour, then was time to head home.

Wow that's a lot of bites for topwater. That's about how many I've gotten total for the past 2 years! Lol. Don't get to go out early enough for it. Hmmm, I wonder if it's time for weightless soft jerks.

Given that I saw baitfish being expelled and not much craw parts, sounds like a good idea.
