My son and I were on the river by daylight and fished until 9:00 or so.
There were maybe 40 or so other fishermen in sight - not too crowded compared to years past.
Fish were rolling to be sure, but cooperating is something that they weren't doing.
I did not see one pink on the bank - and only one other fisherman had a hook up. He lost it near the bank. This was 100+ yards downstream so no way of knowing what he hooked into.
My son managed to hook and land a nice little 20" or so jack chinook, so it wasn't a complete bust.
Visibility is at about 3" - 4"
We'll give it a few more days and head back.
