Late report....sorry,
Hit banks at first light, started on west side of steamboat, no good moved down to mid lake launch area and found success. Started shallow and had to move out to deeper water to get away from the small mouth. Trolled #4 flicker shad in fire tiger with 2 Oz banana weight 24" up at 1.5 to 2.3 mph ground speed. Kept looking for bottom and brining up to target suspended fish. Caught 2 in 8 fow and 2 in 34' fow both 21"er's were in shallow. Good times, love that crankbait fishing, first time with success. You can flat cover some ground till you find fish, then target them and tadah! Fish tacos!
