Launched out of Shilshole today at 6am and fished until noon. The conditions were optimal with an outgoing tide and calm waters. We had the most action by the green buoy just out from the launch in 60-120 feet of water. Caught multiple shakers (both Kings and Silvers) and a had a beauty of a King right to the boat twice and couldn't net him. Darn barbless hooks. We estimated the fish to weigh between 10-15lbs as it is hard to tell when they are thrashing around. The bite was good around 9:30am and there were a ton of fish jumping around and multiple fish on the finder.
Got the nice King to bite on a Pearl white hoochie pulled behind a translucent flasher. Fish counter had checked 12 Kings today by noon at the launch and she said today was the best day she has seen so far for #'s of Kings.
Thanks Emilio and Steven for a fantastic day on the water. Seeing a ton of porpoises was a bonus today as they were surfacing everywhere.
