First time on Loon Lake. Patty and I launched at Granite Point Resort at 6am and were the first boat out there. Used our normal Koke gear that the Rosie Kokes liked last year. Tried leaded line at 2,3,4,and 5 colors and 1 and 1 1/2 ounce trolling sinkers on the other pole. Caught 1 9"er, lost 2 and had one drive by. One boat we saw catch fish consistently and another boat also having success. Off the water at 10am. An old boy at the dock chuckled at us and told us "most people limit out". That kinda stung a bit. That one fish was about the size of the bait we used for Sturgeon last Saturday. Tight Lines, Lee
