I initially started the day at the I90 bridge on Lake Washington (Seattle side at South Day Street Park) but didn't have any luck there. threw a shaky head and drop shot for an hour there. I decided to head up to Lake Union, and I'm glad I did! Initially started out at East Montlake Park. Had a couple of nibbles on the Ned rig, but I couldn't hook up. Met another fellow bass fisherman there, which was fun. It was great talking shop and comparing notes. We parted ways, and I ended up going to West Montlake Park, and I caught 3 bass there on a shaky head (2 largemouth and 1 smallmouth). Given my track record lately, it felt really great to have a solid bass on the line. All in all a great morning of fishing.
