Beautiful day on Lake Cassidy. Fairly quiet, a few others small boats out but were all pretty well spread out in different sections of the lake so it was a really nice sunny late afternoon to paddle around and enjoy the lake. I was hoping for some crappie but they didn't seem to be biting. I tossed a crappie jig along the lily pads along the west side of the lake, north of the boat launch. Got lots of bites, mostly from small perch and sunfish, many of which were probably too small to get the hook in their mouth. But I did catch a handful of small perch and sunfish and one nice largemouth bass.
