Had to do some shopping so decided to go to Sawyer after instead of Sammamish before. Did good, 5 fish in 2 hours. The Smalies were from a 8" smallie to a 3.24 smallie all on dropshot, soft bite, dead sticking and such. Started the day with a 10" Largie on topwater for the first fish of the day. Spent the time along one stretch of shoreline where I lost the 4 lbder yesterday, but no biggie. Lost one about 2 that was a LOT of fun, jumping and swimming back and forth and around in circles, but he came unbuttoned finaly, oh well, didn't get my hands slimie with that fish. lol The 3 jumped once and had the kids in the water, and their father on shore, all excited. :-)

Nice fish! Thanks for the report. Were the fish out deep? I fish on shore and have been striking out lately. I wonder if most of the bass have retreated to the deeper summer locations now that it's been so hot.
