Fished the South end of Whatcom this Saturday. Caught 1 juvenile smallmouth dropshotting with a green and tan curly tail roboworm. Also caught a rock sculpin fishing a shaky head with a roboworm.

Got a decent amount of bites but no takers. It appears the fish have moved deeper since the last time I was there. I expected to go out and kill it but I didn't do as good as I had hoped. The one fish I did catch was under a floating dock in about six feet of water. when I would fish the shaky head around fallen logs and structure I could feel non stop bites, probably sculpin or bluegill munchin on it.

I plan on going back with a with a different approach and a lighter more sensitive rod.
