After work on Monday I made my way out to Loon with my lovely future bride. We were on the water by 6:15 and lines wet by 6:30. We launched at the public launch and went immediately over to the SW side, directly across the lake from granite point. We started troll from the point back into the bay in about 59 ft of water out from the docks. Home made hoochies in pink and one in pink blue/white, 16" leader with various dodgers in front. 1 leaded line rig with an orange apex lined out 5 colors. All 3 did well, primarily the apex and the pink hoochie. We were running the riggers at 23 and 27 feet, we lost alot of fish but ended up with 8 in the live well and of course she caught more than me (i rigged them up that way), the bite was very consistent until 9:15 then pretty much died off. Couldn't have asked for better weather. ~Tight lines y'all~
