River conditions were about perfect, but unfortunately did not get any fish. At the river from 6:00AM - 2:00PM and the spot was very crowded. Started off the morning float fishing a nightmare jig with a little skein. Received no response, so I switched to sand shrimp and also coonies with yarn, but without success. Also attempted a drift setup with a corky and skein, sand shrimp. I feel as though I would have been more successful using a fly rod as the fish were coming to the surface rather often. Watched a guy miss a steelie with a fly rod, but not sure what setup he was using.
