Decided to give Martha Lake a try. This lake is under selective gear rules and as such, took me a few lost fish to figure out how to bring them in. Used Elgin Fishing God's Tooth spoons with the most effective patterns being 50/50 blue, gold shiner and pink top. Did catch a fish on perch and yellow top as well. Started fishing at 10:15am and began flatlining the spoons with about 50' set backs. It was cloudy when I began fishing but when the sun came out, the fish went deeper and found fish between 10'-15'. Used a 6 ounce pinch weight to get the spoons down there. God blessed with 17 fish and losing an additional 5 or 6. The fish seemed to range from 10" to 13" with a 15" being the big one for the day.
