Hit the water at 7:30 AM. The local guys were sking but are very respectful of others. We were able to fish where we wanted and picked up a few smallies. My buddy was looking for a trophy Tiger but only had a few smaller ones follow to the boat. At about 10 AM the off lake play boats started and it was so rough we had to go to the big flat off snag island. The water temp is from 75 to 80. Water is slightly stained because of wave action, and algae bloom in back waters. Early or late unless you like it rough. When going from location to location watch the play boats because they are not watching you.
