Went to the Chain Lakes and fished all day. Fished Killarney down to Blue lake and ended the day with 3 pike in the boat and lost two others in the last 90 minutes. They all were roughly the same size, about 24". Pretty tough fishing but glad we got out and caught a few. Will be a great fish fry.

Thatta boy, I love to see people eating some of those smaller fish. Makes for more food for the big ones. Most people don't know how good pike are to eat. I don't eat a lot of fish but pike are one fish that I do eat on occasion. Nice to see a report from a fellow pike fisherman. I had a tough day out there yesterday myself. Looks like you have cave lake marked as a hot spot. I fished there yesterday and never touched or saw a fish. That lake has kicked my butt for the last 6 or 8 years. I just can't get bit in there.
Thanks for the report!

We fathered to think we were going to get skunked till we found a few. Yes I really like pike too. I talk to a lot of people that say they are hard to fillet or they are full of bones. I then tell them to YouTube it as there are a lot of videos on how to fillet them and end up with some nice boneless strips of really good meat. I could eat it all day, great stuff!!
