I started fishing close to 9am. The air temperature was about 70 and it was partly cloudy. Less than 5 boats on the lake the time I was there. Water temp 67-68.
I trolled north to south in a zigzag pattern from west to east only varying it while water-skiers came out from 9-930am and then a jet ski in that same time period. I did not have any bites that I saw. I had both water wolves out and saw no kokanee. Well maybe one but could not be sure.
I put the riggers from 5 feet to 40 feet. I changed gear every half hour. I thought I would try a Bloody Mary hammered nickel blade with a Watermelon Dodger. When I hit the east end of the lake I changed tactics and species. Put on a piece of night crawler and trolled inside the buoys where I had a few bites and 3 trout to the boat with getting 2 in the boat.
I forgot to stow my net and after I got home realized I had lost it. Ego slider. It floats. If someone finds it please let me know. I left at noon.
I found looking at the bottom can be interesting. I saw where the UFO landed that took all the kokanee. ?
