I took a father and son team out on Loon, they were in town for a competition and wanted to taste the local fishing.

With limited time and a late pick up I opted to take them to Loon Lake.

Started fishing about 3:30 pm, had 2 fish in the boat before I could even get the 2nd rod rigged and lowered. Took a fair amount of time to get all 4 rods working as rods kept popping.

We caught them flat lining being the boat, and off down riggers. 12-20'

Fish size was rather small, and hard to keep buttoned. But fishing was pretty darn steady.

These little buttery slabs will be very good off the smoker. ( vac packing and shipping to the guests )

Great time to get your less than patient little fishermen on loon lake for some fun.

Might take a couple of kids up tomorrow.

Fish seemed to hit just about any typical koke set up, however they seemed to favor the kokeabow spinner .

Started fishing just outside the bay the launch is located in and were into fish right away so we never made it past mid lake.
