This is a report for a compilation of fishing in tapps for the last couple weeks. The bass fishing I've been off the hook.you have to weed through a ton of dinks but there are some nice ones to be had. Most of my bass are coming off of senkos. I usually drag a second pole with a senko on it behind me as I'm chucking bigger lures for tiger muskies. The little pole with 6 lb test and a senko on it hooked up this tiger musky. I had to follow it around without putting any pressure on it to keep them from breaking off my 6 pound test. It took a lot of finesse but I managed to net that sucker . It came in at 45 inches and when I did the length to girth ratio I believe it is a line class world record. Here are some pics of muskies, bass and carp but I pulled out of here the last couple weeks.

Nice report - nice pics. Looks like your dog is a fishing buddy. I had a great dog fishing buddy for several years but he is gone now. I think there is an article about him in the articles section of this site.

Yes she is a great fishing companion. The only problem is every time I hook a big fish and my drag make any noise at all she goes berserk until the fish is in the boat and then she calms down again. It's a little embarrassing.

Wow! What a great catch! Is the "bugle lips" a mirror carp?

I'm not sure what kind of carp it is. I think there is a couple different kinds in here. Some have big oblong scales and some have more of a diamond shaped shiny scale. They are fun to catch. They are very leader shy said I use 6 or 8 lb fluorocarbon with a little #8 hook. Corn or bread balls do the trick. I only land about 1 out of every 3 I hook. I get spoiled on occasion as well. The one photographed to my line all the way to the knot on the reel.
