This lake is one beautiful place. Its in the middle of nowhere so i dont believe its fished much. the water looked very promising for some big catfish and maybe some nighttime largemouth so a friend and i took some coleman lanterns and our gear and got to it around 7:00 pm. Using redworms and bobbers, we killed the big crappie for the first hour. had we come a little earlier, maybe we would have caught more. as far as bass and catfish go, we caught no bass and only about 10-12 inch bullhead all night. so perhaps like the other guy said, a boat is the ticket. but honestly it really is an awesome lake for crappie.
