Got to the lake around 7:30 and started out trolling for kokanee. Had one in the boat within the first 20 minutes (my first kokanee ever so had to keep it), on a blue/silver Elgin's Fishing God's Tooth setup for kokanee purchased from Zombie Tinder on a 12" leader behind a 50/50 dodger . Thought to ourselves "Today is going to be a great day of catching!" Well kept trolling for another 3 hours with catching 1 perch and having another bite but that was it. Only bites came on that setup. Decided to stop trolling and do some drift fishing for perch. Ended up keeping 11 perch and 2 pumpkinseeds for dinner. Caught many more that were on the small side to keep.
