This report is a little late but I had a great day fishing! I walked around the South Pond (all legal anglers pond) saw a few bedding bass, ended up catching three for the day. Two of them came of a wacky rigged zoom trick worm, one came off of weightless Texas rigged Senko. Bass started to slow down so I went back to the truck and picked up my trout stuff and caught my limit within about an hour and a half, caught a decent pound and a half Bow.

Nice to get a report on these ponds. I have fished both ponds - when it was legal and caught a few small largemouth. Carried a canoe in and launched it and went through the connecting channel. Nice pics.

Yeah, the largemouth in there are pretty small, I've usually just caught 1-2 pounders. I think the biggest I've got out of there was a 2 1/2 pounder. Still really fun to catch though!

How do you like your Favorite rod? I got the sniper version and love it. Looks like you had a good day!

I absolutely love it! I got the 7'3" EH LunkersTV edition for flipping and pitching around cover. I can cast a mile, haven't lost a fish in that rod yet! Have amazing backbone to get good hooksets. For an Extra heavy rod it actually has some good rod bend and flex. All in all I'm very happy with it!

I got the same rod and you summed up my thoughts exactly, love that thing!
