Took my girlfriend out for her first early morning fishing trip, and brought along a couple other fishing buddies that I haven't seen in ages. Got to Bill's Boathouse around 6:15, started fishing around 6:30, and it was pretty quiet until about 7:30 when my buddy Jasper started pulling them in. He caught four, one of which had the body of a rainbow but I swear had the flesh of a kokanee. Just that bright orange salmon flesh. Be curious to see how it tastes. As for the rest of us, my girlfriend and I claimed shared ownership of one trout (caught on her rod, but I set it up for her). 5 fish in 3 hours. One chartreuse and one white power egg 3 feet off the bottom.
