This was originally to be a kokanee trip and report but the kokanee at the lake took the day off. The trout, however, were very active and entertaining.
Started 6am. City launch is under repairs until mid June so we launched at the WDFW launch, very challenging small gravel launch, flat. Robbie and I managed to get Reel Zen in the water. Next task was forgetting a depth map, opps. Took a lap around the lake to zero in on trolling depths.
Two rods on downriggers probing the depths for koks. Fish on the fish finder but no takers all morning. The leaded lines meanwhile had consistant action on 12-14" rainbows. Great fun! 3 colors out, sling blades and Reli Lures in orange and pink colors were hot. Troll speed 1.0 to 1.8, itroll hunt mode triggered several bites.

Lost one kok rig to a sunken anchor rope in 80 feet of water, ugh.
Beautifulmorning to be on the water, called it a day at 11am to do chores. Another fun trip and good memories!
