Got to Lake Sutherland just outside of Port Angeles, WA. just after 7:00am.
The limit is 5 Kokanee, on this lake. I caught 4. I was by myself, had so many bites, misses sooooo many more then i caught. the fish where really wild on this lake. one fish was kicking so hard when it reaches the surface it looked as if it was walking on water.
fishing by myself was pretty hard due to the fact they where crazy fish, lol.
their size where much bigger then last year. they did not have pink or red meat like they do on Lake Chelan. the meat was that of a trout not the normal Kokanee, a grey white meat.
i used my own cured corn recipe. i could have caught my limit if i stayed longer but i picked a day i had to go to work. i got off the water around 9:30 or 10:00 not exactly sure.
