CF and I went searching for walleyes today. We unfortunately decided to try the south end first and 90 minutes yielded a single catfish. We headed to the north end and there were 5 boats in the area all catching fish. We concentrated in 5-7 FOW and fairly quickly had two 22"and a 21" fish. Slow death rigs in green, chartreuse and orange colors worked. We ended up with 10 keepers, 2 dinks, a 20 lb carp, 1 crappie, 2 catfish and 6 perch. Water temp 67, speed 1.1 MPH. There were numerous weeds in less than 6 FOW requiring frequent checking of setups. 2/3 of fish came off planer boards. I hope this signals that there will more fish coming off the spawn.
