Al, CF and I made our first Moses Lake walleye outing for 2017. We started at the North end and picked up two 19" fish in 2 hours and never saw another fish caught by the dozen other boats. We worked our way down lake stopping near Connelly Park and Crest Island with no action. We were surprised to find only a few bass boats on the South end. 2 hours of trolling yielded a 18" eye. We trolled crawlers on slow death setups, various colors. Fish caught in 5, 7 and 11 FOW. Water temps 63*. It was the first time using sidewinder planer boards and 2 of the 3 fish came off the boards, not enough action to determine whether they make a difference. Weather was beautiful with the temperature near 80* when we called it quits at noon. As always enjoyed the time on the water with great friend. Hopefully the bite will pick up in the near future. Sorry no pics today.
