Beautiful day, no wind, and we absolutely crapped out today. We're not the world's best bass fishermen by any means, but 2 rods for 6 hours and not even one hit! We worked all the way around the lake fishing from right at the shore out to 15 feet or so. Most effort in the 4-8' range. We tossed one or two each of everything in the tackle boxes from worms to swimbaits. Most effort was with swimjigs since that's what's been working best for us so far this year.
We were hoping the incoming weather front (thunder, lightning, rain) might jump start something--not to happen. Weather was 70+ degrees and bright sun all day. Basically no wind, with a slight breeze starting about noon. We hit the water at 9AM and pulled the boat at 3:30PM.
