Finally got back on the lake, a weeke and a half without fishing is too long.

Got 4, One a Smallie, which of course was the biggest at 2.51.

Senko and gitzit. Lost 2, the first one on a sinko, so I threw in the gitzit and caught a 2 +.

Saw a bunch. Man are they SPOOOOOOKIE!!! lol

Thanks for the report. Question slightly off topic, do you ever see signs of Kokanee on Sawyer. I realize you're not generally targeting them but curious if you find any jumpers or see any of them hanging out of the gullet of any bass you catch or in the stomach contents of any fish you might choose to keep.

It appears WDFW sticks the lake with Kokanee but nobody appears to be targeting or catching any so I'm not sure if the bass are gobbling them all up or if it's the world's best kept secret.

TIA for sharing any observations!

I see trout swirl and jumps lots sometimes, and some day not. Some big fish, some small fish. I have no idea which trout specie they are

WDFW has done some planting of trout, I don't know what kind, in the lake.

Some people have fished for koks there, but last year when I asked a guy about he said he hasn't caught very many back then.

I've caught a few over the years, usually catch one or 2 in the spring before I even start getting Bass bites. No I've never targeted koks.
