We fished Lake Chelan Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as enjoyed a great potluck with the NWFR group, what a great bunch of people. I want to give a special thanks to Life Proof Boats for the inflatable life jackets that I won it the prize give away. Friday my wife Evie fished a Kokabow set up with anise corn, I used a 2.25 orange Brads cut plug with krill corn. After four hours of catching losing and missing fish we ended the day just a couple fish short of two limits. Saturday we hit the water at 6:30. Evie used the same Kokabow watermelon dodger and peach color hootchie, I used an orange Kekeda fly behind a Kokabow dodger. We had two limits in the boat in one hour forty five minutes plus a couple trout. Sunday we stared out at 7:00 and at 9:30 we had two more limits (until I started cleaning the fish and found out we had miscounted and only had 19 instead of 20) but we did pick up another trout. Sunday Evie used the same Kokabow set up but I changed to an Oldgoat 1.8 fluorescent pink lure just to see if it would catch Kokanee and boy did it ever. I really like how the lure slides up the line when the fish hits it, very few fish lost or missed bites. I did tip it with a kernel of anise corn but it fished just as well or better than anything else I fished all weekend. This year every trip that we target a different species I test fish an Oldgoat lure and it has produced very well on Kokanee, Trout and Walleye. another thing that I like about these lures is there is no paint or tape to wear off, these lures will last forever with out losing their color and they can be fished with or with out a dodger at speeds as low as .5 mph.

Bob,

We really appreciate your taking the time to test the OG1 on a variety of species! (I'd thought the lure would work for walleye; but, wasn't sure if it would for kokanee. Your tests have been, and continue to be, a huge help!!)

Thank you!
