Fishing was steady today. I am really excited about this years Kokanee at Conconully Lake they are a fat 13 in average right now and going to get bigger. Today was a two hour trip due to a honey do list. The kokanee bite was good, the rainbow bite did not exist. Every fish in the boat was a fat 13 in silver bullet with the largest pushing 14. Orange and pink custom tied hoochie tube flies behind Mack's DD dodgers and smile blades. Anise plus out fished the bloody tuna but the bloody tuna produced too.
It was just a little windy. It pushed us around a bit. Lots of open campsites at the start park. This is going to be a great year here.

Hey Bent, good lookin' tubes. Missed you at Chelan. Are you tying the tubes yourself?

Andy. Sorry to miss you at the get together. I ended up having to work. The plan was to hand out a few of those hoochie tubes I have been tying. After seeing how these things have been working I doubt we will be running the old school style hoochies any more. Thanks for the look!

What is the material type or name that transitions form orange to pink. I'm sure those will work well.

It's a rubber leggs material from hair line dubbing Co. North 40 fly shop has them in Stock. I will text you a photo.
