Wow, what a day! Last weekend i did good going 4/6 +2 bull trout (all carefully released on unscented twitching jigs with barbless hooks), yesterday though was epic... A friend and I got started at first light, and it was lights out from then on. He got a few fish on spoons but the rest were twitching jigs. All my fish were on twitching jigs. He went 11/15 i went 16/24. 27 coho to hand by 3 oclock, and thats not counting all the trout we caught. We had 3 doubles and we landed all 6 fish too! The scenery was awesome, weather was pleasantly cool with overcast and intermitant drizzle throughout the day. Visibility started at 4 feet and went to around 6 feet by the end of the day. All fish were safely released to spawn the next generation. Fish were aggressive, we hooked 2-6 fish per run then again on the way back after a brief rest. Most of our day was spent in solitude. Ill never forget this day.
