Up to Canada for the third trip to the Island this summer so far. Fishing off the West Coast out of Nootka sound and fishing was nothing short of amazing. Fished 3 days, each day we hooked over 30 kings, countless coho, was able to avoid the plague of pinks and, despite the windy and rough seas were able to find some bottomfish as well. Lots of Tyee-class chinook mixed in. Looking like a great year for chinook and coho out in the salt, should be a great year for fall salmon in the rivers! Pics above
