With the Snake River closing to spring chinook fishing in the Clarkston area I decided to switch gears yesterday and got out for my first targeted sturgeon fishing of the year. The weather was absolutey fantastic and the fish were willing to play. We caught several smaller fish and then managed to tie into close to a 10 foot river monster. I will be primarily focusing on Sturgeon from now through late June. I still have sone prime weekend and weekday openings this month. This is a truly special experience that should be on every anglers bucket list. Check out the pics of our big fish from yesterday to get an idea of the quality of fish we target.
