Personally, had our very first tournament this weekend and what a great time! Almost all of the Inland Empire Bass Club members caught lots of fish both days and overall we had zero dead ones so 100% were released. Even after battling the scary, windy weather on Saturday we managed to have a great time.
Girlfriend got me again on the first day, biggest fish was a 2.06lb smallmouth for our boat. Lot's of little smallies caught but still a very enjoyable weekend. Ended up beating her by 6oz for my whopping two total of 6.5lbs. All fish caught on lipless cranks with water temps around 52-53 degrees.

Curious if you launched at Boyer park? If so, did you see many boats fishing for spring Salmon?

I will be down there this weekend and was hoping to not have a crowd. Fish On!

The tourney launched from Boyer so yes. There were a few boats around there, maybe 3 or 4. We had to crimp our barbs if we fished within 6 miles of that area due to the spring chinook. Regulations were posted in the store at Boyer but I'd check with WDFW for area restrictions.
