What a beautiful afternoon for Steelhead fishing, overcast, outside temp. 51*, water temp. 44.2*, and no wind. Our plan was to catch fish in four different locations, we caught and released Steelhead up to about nine pounds, in three locations, another boat pulled into the last spot we were going to fish, so we decided to pack it in, it was close to 4:00 pm and we wanted to get the boat out before dark. We were rewarded with a bonus today, the Big Horn Mountain Sheep are in rut, Barb and I heard what sounded like a shotgun going off, it was the rams butting heads, there were three rams and six ewes, they eventually came down to water about thirty yards from us, beautiful animals in their new winter coats.
