I just wanted to give a quick update on the Spring Chinook season below Bonneville Dam. This weekend is the last opportunity to fish for Springers in the Columbia below Bonneville Dam, and as of this morning, fishing is good! I have gotten several reports from Woodland all the way to Bonneville and fish are in all parts of the river! If heading down this weekend, focus on sections of river that you are familiar with and DO NOT CHASE REPORTS! I will say it again....There are fish spread throughout the entire system up to Bonneville and fishing water you are confident in and comfortable with will greatly increase your odds of catching fish. Anchor fishing plugs, or trolling herring is your best bets!

I am heading down to fish tonight and will be down there through Sunday's closure. I have open seats for Sunday the 23rd due to a late cancellation, so if you want in on the action, give me a call and we can make a deal! I will be focusing my efforts from I5 upstream. The bite was very good today with several guides limited and off the water by lunch time!
