Tough day. Launched at 7 Bays, ramp in good shape with small dock. Remains to be seen what this will look like as lake level continues to be drawn down. Level was about 1242 ft today. Fort Spokane ramp closed. Wind was blowing 15 to 20 all day SW to W. Boat control was a huge issue. Fished portions of Hawk Creek without any luck, a few bumps, a few fish showed up on sonar. Several folks on bank also no fish. Moved to shoreline just south of big rock directly across river from 7 Bays. Trolled in 20 to 35 feet wind still blowing hard, nothing on sonar and no bumps. Pretty sure fish are around, but the wind seems to have moved them from their normal holding areas, just could not find them. Saw someone fishing on bank at 7 Bays land a nice rainbow when we returned to the ramp. Weather was great, company good, first time out this season for the boat with no issues. In all respects a great day, but it was fishing, not catching.
