Sorry for the late report:

Hit Rufus Woods for the first time this colder season, caught our limit on trout though. We had a slow start from the upstream launch then moved down towards the island on the south side looking for marks and was pretty slim. We tried the slack side with spoons and spinners for a bit since it worked out OK last year but after an hr or so nothing so we pulled anchor and moved on. We moved only a little farther downstream and noticed a small cove on the north side so we moved in for a look and marked loads of fish. We decided why not and tossed the anchor. Shortly after we decided a powerbait rod needed to be tried and succeeded. Had our first bite of the day 10 min after it hit the water. Shortly after that we decided to toss out a bobber with a bit of crawler and some salmon eggs which had another bite in less then 10 min. shortly after that we had 6 fish in the boat and 4 or so misses in the process. Nothing huge but on the ultralights they fought like hogs and we loved every minute of our 3 hrs on the lake.

We had good luck with the orange powerbait
The bobber had about 10' of slip then just the crawler and 2 shrimp flavored salmon eggs
The hottest and fastest hitter was the one with red power marshmallows with an " of crawler and an egg
All rigs were sprayed with R-Juice

I would have tried some more stuff but had our limit
